Mouse Recorder Macro for Windows

Tired of repeating the same clicks and keystrokes? Record your routine once, play it back instantly with a hotkey. No setup, no account, completely free.

What This Does

Mouse Recorder PC captures everything your mouse and keyboard do—clicks, drags, scrolls, typed text, modifier keys—and stores it as a file. Press F9 to start recording, F9 again to stop. Press F10 to replay the exact same sequence, as many times as you need, at whatever speed you choose.

The tool runs offline on Windows 10 and 11. No registration, no watermark, no ads. Download, unzip, run. That's it.

People use it to skip repetitive spreadsheet pasting, automate setup wizards across multiple machines, debug UI interactions for QA teams, and loop farming sequences in games. If you're doing the same thing more than twice, you can automate it here.

Real Scenarios That Work

Excel and spreadsheets: You're pasting the same block of data into a hundred rows, or filling fields in a repetitive pattern. Record one cycle—select cell, paste, move down, repeat—then loop it as many times as you need.

Software installs: Your job is clicking through a setup wizard on five machines with identical settings. Record the wizard once (Next, Next, folder path, Install), save it, then run it on each machine with F10.

Game farming and routines: Record a crafting loop, a resource gathering pattern, or a keep-alive sequence. Set loop count to run indefinitely until you manually stop it, or pick an exact number of repetitions.

Manual testing: QA teams replay a bug-triggering interaction at will so developers can see it happen on demand, without manually clicking through ten steps every time.

Forms and uploads: Websites that force you through a per-item wizard for bulk uploads. Record one item's full workflow and loop it across your list.

How to Record and Play Your First Macro

  1. Start the app Open Mouse Recorder PC. You'll see the main window with a speed slider and file menu.
  2. Press F9 to record F9 begins capture from any window. Perform your routine—click buttons, type text, move through a form, whatever you need to repeat. Keep the sequence under a minute or two for best results.
  3. Press F9 again to stop Recording ends. Your routine is now in memory, ready to test.
  4. Press F10 to replay Watch it play back at normal speed. If it moves too fast to see what's happening, drag the speed slider left to 10% for debugging. Push it right to 1000% to blast through long routines in seconds.
  5. Save to a file Go to File → Save to store the routine. Name it something clear like 'inventory_update' or 'game_loop'. Load it anytime with File → Open, even weeks later on a different machine.

What Survives Portability

Clicks and keystrokes port cleanly across machines and resolutions. If you record 'click button at coordinates 500,300 and type password', the click will work the same on any monitor size.

Pure cursor movement without clicks is coordinate-based, so a routine captured on 4K may click the wrong spot on 1080p. For portability, build macros around clicks and typing rather than long mouse paths.

The app runs at the hardware input level, so keystrokes replay in full-screen games, remote desktop sessions, and other environments where simpler tools fail silently. Check your game's terms if automation is allowed.

Routines save as files. Unzip the app folder onto a USB stick and carry it between machines. No registry entries, no services, no installation. Delete the folder and it's gone completely.

Questions

Does it cost money?

No. Free forever, no trial period, no Pro tier, no ads, MIT licensed.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and start recording. Nothing to register, nothing to log into.

Does it work in games and remote desktop?

Yes. Input is replayed at scan-code level, which works in full-screen games and remote sessions. Always check your game's terms of service for automation rules.

What about Windows 11?

Windows 10 and 11, both 64-bit, fully supported and tested.

Does it need internet?

No. Runs completely offline. No updates, no telemetry, no network calls.

Can I rebind the hotkeys?

Yes. F9 and F10 are the defaults, but both are rebindable to any key you prefer.

Can I change replay speed?

Yes. Drag the speed slider from 10% (very slow, for debugging) to 1000% (very fast).

Can I loop a macro?

Yes. Play it once, a set number of times, or loop infinitely until you stop it manually.
